Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman ને GIFT City માં Real-Time Foreign Currency Settlement System (FCSS) લોન્ચ કર્યું

અર્થવ્યವಸ್ಥા મંત્રીએ GIFT City ખાતે real-time Foreign Currency Settlement System (FCSS) શરૂ કર્યું — જે અગાઉની 36–48 કલાકની વિલંબિત forex_SETTLEMENTS ને દૂર કરે છે અને આંતરબેંક વિદેશી ચલણ (forex) વ્યવહારોને તરત જ નિપટાવવાની ક્ષમતા આપે છે.

Key Highlights :

FCSS હેઠળ તે જ સ્થળે પસંદ કરાયેલ લોકલ settlement bank સીધું GIFT IFSC અંદર inter-bank foreign currency ટ્રાન્ઝેક્શન્સ క్లિયર કરશે — Nostro ખાતા અને મધ્યસ્થોને બાયપાસ કરીને.
આ સિસ્ટમ તાત્કાલિક forex settlement સક્ષમ બનાવશે અને Payment and Settlement Systems (PSS) Act, 2007 હેઠળ કાર્યરત રહેશે — ফলে કાર્યક્ષમતા, લિક્વિડિટી મેનેજમેન્ટ અને ઓપરેશનલ રિઝિલિયન્સ વધશે.
GIFT-IFSC હવે Hong Kong, Tokyo અને Manila જેવા અગ્રણી ગ્લોબલ ફાઇનાન્શિયલ હબ્સ સાથે જોડાઈ રહ્યું છે — જે લોકલ forex settlement પ્રણાલીઓ ધરાવે છે.
CCIL IFSC Limited (Clearing Corporation of India Ltd ની સબસિડિયરિ) ને FCSS માટે વર્તમાન Payment System Operator (PSO) તરીકે નિરૂપિત કરવામાં આવ્યું છે.
સોફ્ટવેરનું ડેવલપમેન્ટ Indian Financial Technology & Allied Services (IFTAS) દ્વારા હાથ ધરવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે — જે RBI ની હોલોલી-ઓન્ડ સબસિડિયરી છે.
US dollar માટે Standard Chartered Bank ને partner bank તરીકે નિશ્ચિત કરીને settlement સમય હવે 4–5 સેકંડ સુધી ઘટ્યો છે (પુર્વે 36–48 કલાક સુધી).

RBI એ Offline Digital Rupee (e₹) Global Fintech Fest 2025 માં લોન્ચ કરી — ડિજિટલ ફાઇનાન્સનું મોટુ પગલું

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) એ Global Fintech Fest 2025 માં offline digital rupee (e₹) રજૂ કરી — જે Indiaની સેન્ટ્રલ બેંક ડિજિટલ કરન્સી (CBDC) છે અને physical cash જેવી જ સુવિધા ડિજિટલ રીતે પૂરી પાડે છે.

e₹ ઘણી બેંકવાળી wallets માં ઉપલબ્ધ છે — SBI, ICICI, HDFC અને Union Bank દ્વારા પ્રદાન કરાયેલા bank walletsમાં; Google Play અને Apple App Store પરથી ડાઉનલોડ કરી શકાય છે.
વોટા-to-વોટા (P2P) અને પર્સન-ટુ-મર્ચન્ટ (P2M) instantaneous પેમેન્ટ્સ માટે સગવડ આપે છે; offline payments માટે ઓછામાં ઓછા નેટવર્ક કનેક્ટિવિટી અથવા NFC-tap ટેકનોલોજી આધાર આપે છે — જે ગ્રામ્ય અને દૂરનાં વિસ્તારો માટે ઉપયોગી છે.

SBI General Insurance નો ‘Health Alpha’ — 50+ Optional Benefits સાથે કસ્ટમાઇઝેબલ હેલ્થ પ્લાન

SBI General Insurance એ ‘Health Alpha’ લોન્ચ કર્યું — એક customizable retail health insurance plan જે policyholders ને 50થી વધુ optional benefits દ્વારા કવર પ્રકાર ગોઠવવાની છૂટ આપે છે.

Sum insured ₹5 લાખથી લઈ Unlimited સુધી ઉપલબ્ધ; policy terms 5 years સુધી અને بالغો માટે કોઈ ઊપરી ઉમર સીમા નથી.
મુખ્ય ફીચર્સમાં up to 10x cumulative bonus, Unlimited & Endless Sum Insured વિકલ્પો, critical illness cover, global cover અને industry-first Gym & Sports Injury OPD cover સામેલ છે.
SBI General Insurance નો ઉદ્દેશ Health Alpha ને customized health insurance માં benchmark બનાવવાનો છે અને તેની retail health segment ને મજબૂત કરવાનું છે.

Expenditure Finance Committee ₹7,300 કરોડ યોજના મંજુર — Rare Earth Magnets domestic production વધારવા

Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) એ ભારતની rare earth magnets ની ઘરોમાં ઉત્પાદન વધારવા માટે ₹7,300 કરોડની incentive scheme મંજૂર કરી — આ મિશન EVs, wind turbines અને ઇલેક્ટ્રોનિક્સ માટે મહત્વનું છે.

યોજનાનો સમયગાળો 7 વર્ષનો હશે; શરૂઆતમાં outlay ₹1,350 કરોડ તરીકે સૂચવાયો હતો અને હવે તે ₹7,300 કરોડ સુધી વધ્યો છે.
₹6,500 કરોડ capital expenditure માટે અને ₹800 કરોડ operational support માટે રિઝર્વ રાખવામાં આવ્યા છે — જેમાં processing units અને supply chains સ્થાપવાના પ્રોજેક્ટો આગળ લાવવામાં આવશે.
હેતુ 2030 સુધી rare earth magnet ની domestic output 6,000 tonnes સુધી લાવવાની છે (હાલનું સૌથી નિકટનું લક્ષ્ય ~1,500 metric tonnes) — જેથી ઘરેલું માંગને પૂરી કરી શકાય.
IREL (India) Ltd એ દેશમાં rare earth mining અને refining માટે એકમાત્ર PSU તરીકે રહ્યું છે.
આ પગલું Chinaની export restrictions વાળા global supply-chain જોખમ પછી લેવામાં આવ્યું છે.
2025 માં EV અને wind turbine ઉત્પાદકો કંપનીઓ Indiaની 4,010 MT rare earth માંગ માંથી >50% જેટલા ભાગ માટે જવાબદાર હતાં; 2030 સુધી આ માંગ વધીને 8,220 MT સુધી પહોચવાની ધારણા છે.

RBI Phone-Locking System અંગે યોજના — Credit-based mobile purchases પર કબ્જો ઘટાડવા માટે

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) એક phone security platform વિશે શોધ-વિચારો કરી રહ્યું છે જે lenders ને ક્રેડિટ પર ખરીદેલ mobile phones remote રીતે lock કરવાની ક્ષમતા આપશે જો borrowers ડિફૉલ્ટ કરે.

લક્ષ્ય છે bad loans ઘટાડવો સાથે-સાથે consumer protection અને data privacy ની સુરક્ષા જાળવવી.
RBI હાલમાં lenders ને હલનચલન કરતી phone-locking practices બંધ કરવા માટે સૂચન કર્યું છે જે loans આપતી વખતે ઇન્સ્ટોલ થતી એવા apps પર આધારિત હોય છે.
નવાં માર્ગદર્શન under Fair Practices Code માં explicit borrower consent 必要 થઇ શકે છે અને lenders દ્વારા personal data access પર સીમાઓ મૂકવાની શક્યતા છે.
આ પહેલથી consumer lenders જેમકે Bajaj Finance, DMI Finance અને Cholamandalam Finance જેવા સંસ્થાઓ લાભાન્વિત થઈ શકે છે — કારણ કે ભારતમાં ત્રીજાજ ભાગ થી વધુ ફોન્સ छोटे-ટિકિટ ક્રેડિટ દ્વારા ખરીદવામાં આવે છે.

Finance Minister ની તૈયારી — “Pension Sakhis” મહિલા તાલીમથી NPS (National Pension System) enrolment વધારવા માટે

Nirmala Sitharaman એ મહિલાઓને “Pension Sakhis” તરીકે તાલીમ આપવાના પ્રસ્તાવ મૂક્યા, LICની Bima Sakhis જેમ, જેથી NPS માં enrolment અને પેન્શન-સુવિધાઓનું આરોહન થાય.

આ પ્રસંગે તેમની ટિપ્પણીમાં Forum for Regulatory Coordination and Development of Pension Products (Aug 2025 સ્થાપિત) નો ઉલ્લેખ કર્યો હતો.
Multiple Scheme Framework (MSF) for non-government NPS subscribers 1 October 2025 થી શરૂ થયું — જે 100% equity allocation અને વિવિધ CRA હેઠળ investment flexibility ને સક્ષમ બનાવે છે.
MSF હેઠળ fund managers અલગ-અલગ schemes રચી શકે છે અને જૂના single-scheme-per-subscriber મોડેલ ને બદલી શકશે (સાથે 75% equity cap લાગુ રહેતી છે).
NPS (introduced 2004) એ Indiaનું pension માળખું Defined-Benefit થી Defined-Contribution પર પરિવર્તિત કરી ને વ્યાપક રિટાયરમેન્ટ પ્લાનિંગ ટૂલ તરીકે વિકસાવ્યુ છે.

Notaries (Amendment) Rules, 2025 — Notariesની સંખ્યા ચાર રાજ્યોમાં વધારવા માટે કેન્દ્રની સૂચના

Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Law and Justice એ Notaries (Amendment) Rules, 2025 (S.R. 763(E) dated 17 October 2025) જાહેર કરી છે — જે Notaries Rules, 1956 માં સુધારો કરે છે અને Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan તથા Nagaland માટે Notaries ની મહત્તમ સંખ્યા વધારવાનો આધાર આપે છે.

સુધારેલ મર્યાદા:
Gujarat: 2,900 → 6,000;
Tamil Nadu: 2,500 → 3,500;
Rajasthan: 2,000 → 3,000;
Nagaland: 200 → 400.
આ નિર્ણય રાજ્ય સરકારોના વિનંતી ને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને અને નોટરી સેવાઓ માટે વધતી માંગને પહોંચી વળવા માટે લેવામાં આવ્યો છે.

XV Finance Commission Grants — Gujarat અને Haryana ના Rural Local Bodies માટે ₹730 કરોડ વિતરણ

કેન્દ્ર સરકારે FY 2025–26 માટે XV Finance Commission Grants નું વિતરણ શરૂ કર્યું — જે Gujarat અને Haryana ના Panchayati Raj સંસ્થાઓ (RLBs) ને grassroots governance મજબૂત કરવા માટે છે.

Gujarat માં 2nd installment of Untied Grants (FY 2024–25) ₹522.20 કરોડ 38 District Panchayats, 247 Block Panchayats અને 14,547 Gram Panchayats માટે બહાર પાડવામાં આવેલ છે; તેમજ ₹13.5989 કરોડ withheld 1st installment ની રીલીઝ પણ કેટલીક સત્તાવાર એકમો માટે કરી છે.
Haryana માં 1st installment (FY 2025–26) ₹195.129 કરોડ 18 District Panchayats, 134 Block Panchayats અને 6,164 Gram Panchayats માટે જારી કરવામાં આવ્યું છે.
Untied Grants PRIs દ્વારા local જરૂરિયાતોને અનુરૂપ ઉપયોગ માટે છે (Eleventh Schedule ની 29 subjects અંતર્ગત), જ્યારે Tied Grants sanitation અને drinking water જેવા નિશ્ચિત કામો માટે મંજુર છે.

India’s Sacred Buddha Relics — Kalmykia માં 90,000થી વધુ ભક્તોનો સમાગમ

ભારતની Sacred Relics of Lord Buddha Kalmykia (Russia) માં Geden Sheddup Choikorling Monastery ખાતે પ્રદર્શિત કરવામાં આવી છે અને 90,000થી વધુ ભક્તોએ મુલાકાત લીધી છે — આત્મિક અને સાંસ્કૃતિક સંબંધોને મજબૂત કરવામાં આવતાં એક ઐતિહાસિક ઘટના.

United States અને Australia — Critical Minerals Deal (21 October 2025)

US President Donald Trump અને Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese એ 21 October 2025 ના રોજ White House ખાતે critical minerals agreement પર હસ્તાક્ષર કર્યા — જે Western supply chains ને મજબૂત કરવા અને China ની ડૉમિનેન્સ ઘટાડવા માટે છે.

$8.5 billion mineral supply pipeline નિર્માણનો લક્ષ્ય; બંને દેશો માંથી within six months $1 billion each એન્વેસ્ટમેન્ટ કરવાની વાત છે — lithium, nickel અને rare earth elements જેવી મહત્વની ખનિજ સામગ્રી માટે.
આ સંધિમાં minimum price floors અને reforms ના અભિગમો શામેલ છે જેથી પ્રોજેક્ટ્સ ઝડપી રીતે આગળ વધે અને બજારો સ્થિર રહેશે.
S. Export-Import Bank $2.2 billion letters of interest જાહેર કરી — કેટલીક Australian companies ને ટેકો આપવા માટે (Arafura Rare Earths, Northern Minerals વગેરે).
Pentagon gallium refinery Western Australia માં સ્થાપવાની યોજના પણ મુખ્ય હાઈલાઇટ છે — semiconductors અને satellite communications માટે મહત્વપૂર્ણ સામગ્રી પર China ની અલ્પસંખ્યાક નિયંત્રણને પડકાર આપવાની મદદ કરશે.

IUCN અને IRENA — Abu Dhabi Congress માં MoU પર હસ્તાક્ષર

International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) અને International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) એ IUCN World Conservation Congress (Abu Dhabi) માં MoU કદર્યું — Renewable energy transition દરમિયાન biodiversity નું રક્ષણ અને cộng đồngને સહાય કરવા પર કામ ક્યારાશે.

આ સમજીુતિ biodiversity impact assessment tools, conservation co-benefit projects અને policy guidance શેર કરવા પર કેન્દ્રિત રહેશે.
MoU ત્રણ વર્ષ માટે માન્ય રહેશે અને તેની વિસ્તરણની શક્યતા છે — જેથી SDGs ને આગળ વધારવામાં સહાય મળે.

Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh — PTC Industries (Lucknow) માં Titanium & Superalloy Materials Plantનું ઉદઘાટન

Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh એ PTC Industries ના Strategic Materials Technology Complex, Lucknow માં Titanium અને Superalloy Materials Plant સમર્પિત કરી હતી (18 October 2025) — જે defence અને aerospace માટે વિમાનગત ગુણવત્તાવાળી nadિર્માણ સામગ્રી બનાવવા માટે મહત્વપૂર્ણ છે.

50 acres પર સ્થિત Strategic Materials Technology Complex માં ₹1,000 કરોડ રોકાણ છે અને વાર્ષિક ઉત્પાદન ક્ષમતા 6,000 tonnes aviation-grade Titanium અને Superalloys ની છે — ઘરેલુ અને recycled સ્ત્રોતોથી.
ઇન્ડિયા હવે કેટલાક કેટલાક દેશોમાં સામેલ બની રહ્યો છે જેમને advanced defence/aero materials ઉત્પન્ન કરવાની ક્ષમતા છે — જેમાં fighter jets, missiles અને naval systems માટે ભાગો બની શકે છે.
PTC-BDL વચ્ચે MoU પર છે્ય; PTC ને CEMILAC, DRDO તરફથી LoTA મળી છે — અધિક પ્રોજેક્ટો જેમ કે Kaveri Derivative Engine (KDE-2) માટે turbine blades manufacturing માટે પરચાલિત ઓર્ડર પણ મળ્યા છે.

Chandrayaan-2 એ Moon ના exosphere પર Solar Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) નું પ્રભાવ નિરીક્ષણ કર્યું

ISRO ના Chandrayaan-2 lunar orbiter દ્વારા CHACE-2 ઇન્સ્ટ્રુમેન્ટથી સૌરયોનના Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) નું મૂલ્યવાન નિરીક્ષણ થયું — જે પહેલાં થોડીકલ્પિત થવામાં આવ્યું હતું અને હવે ઉપગ્રહ મુજબ प्रत्यक्ष પ્રમાણ મળ્યું.

10 May 2024 ના રોજ આવેલા CMEs ના એક શૃંખલાએ ચંદ્ર પર અસર કરી અને lunar exosphere માં ગોઠવાયેલા neutral atom અને molecule ની number density દસ ગણા કરતાં વધુ વધી નીચે આવતી માપ મળ્યા.
ચંદ્ર પાસે atmosphere તેમજ ગ્લોબલ magnetic field ન હોવાને કારણે CME events નો પ્રભાવ સીધો અને તેજ રહે છે — જે lunar space weather અને ભવિષ્યની lunar bases માટે પડકારો ઊભા કરે છે.
આ શોધ ISRO ને planetary science અને interplanetary research ક્ષેત્રે આગેવાની સ્થિત પર મુકશે — Chandrayaan-2 (2019 માં લોન્ચ) પોતાનો વૈજ્ઞાનિક યોગદાન જારી રાખે છે, ભલે lander મોટી સફળતા ન મેળવ્યો થયો હોય.

Zoho ની નવી પ્રોડક્ટ “Vani” — Visual Collaboration Platform

Zoho એ “Vani” નામનું visual-first workplace collaboration platform રજૂ કર્યું — teams માટે dynamic interactive workspaces અને AI-powered tools દ્વારા productivity વધારવાનો ઉદ્દેશ છે.

“Spaces” અને “Zones” મોડેલ સ્ટ્રક્ચર પર આધારિત, જેમાં spaces project canvases છે અને zones contributor/phase પ્રમાણે work organize કરે છે.
AI tools content generation, flowcharts, summaries અને insights માટે ઇન્ટિગ્રેટ કરે છે.

Finternet — DPI centered on Asset Tokenisation અને AI — 2026માં લોન્ચ થવા રસપ્રદ યોજના

Finternet — ભારતનું આવનારી Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) — 2026 માં લોન્ચ થવાની આશા છે; હેતુ assets (land, property, bonds, financial investments) ને tokenise કરીને regulatory-compliant ટોકન પર આધારીત વ્યવહાર સગવડ બનાવવો છે.

ટોકનાઇઝેશન physical assets ને digital tokens માં રૂપાંતરિત કરીને મેનેજમેન્ટ, ટ્રાન્ઝેક્શન અને ownershipની પારદર્શિતા વધારશે.
આ પહેલ cryptocurrency-આધારિત प्रणालियोंથી અલગ રહેશે અને regulatory compliance પર ભાર મૂકશે.
